Power Supply With Auto Switching
Self-Paced Projects
Fee: ₹499
A power supply with auto switching is a device that can automatically switch between different power sources to ensure uninterrupted power supply. This type of power supply is commonly used in situations where a reliable and continuous power supply is essential, such as in hospitals, data centers, and other critical facilities.
The project will involve designing and building a power supply with auto switching capabilities using electronic components such as diodes, transistors, relays, and voltage regulators. The power supply will be able to switch between multiple power sources, such as the mains power supply, backup battery, or generator, depending on the availability of power.
Objectives
The power supply will also be equipped with a voltage regulator to ensure that the output voltage remains constant, regardless of the input voltage. This will help protect sensitive electronic devices from voltage fluctuations and surges.
The primary objective of this project is to develop a power supply system that can automatically switch between power sources during a power outage. The system should be able to detect the loss of power and switch to an alternative power source seamlessly. The system should also be able to switch back to the primary power source once power is restored.
