Our programme on ‘Political Leadership’ is designed to motivate youth, women, and the people of India in general to think of joining politics and becoming a good political leader.
Today, we curse politics and politicians as bad. Bad politicians have demeaned democracy, polluted political culture, lowered democratic decorum, and cheated people. Who will set things right? From where good politicians will come? Youth, today, aims at jobs and employment. They never put politics and political leadership on their agenda. But Politics is the top job! It is highest decision-making job.
Consequently, mediocre, bad, or criminal elements have flooded political space. They become peoples’ representatives.
There are 33 lakh peoples’ representatives at national, state, municipal and panchayat levels. Why not aim at that too?
This Political Leadership programme and several follow-up programmes are not only aimed at producing a new breed of professionally trained political leaders, but also create employment opportunities for youth to become political-advisors, political-consultants, political-strategists, election-campaign-managers, political-speech-writers, election-data-analysts, fund-raisers, and social-media-managers.
