RFID Based Passport Project
Self-Paced Projects
Fee: ₹499
Passport verification and checking is a very time consuming process. This proposed system simplifies the process by giving the authorized person an RFID tag containing all the passport details like name, passport number and nationality etc. Once, the person places the card in front of the RFID card reader, it reads the data and verifies it with that data present in the system and if it matches then it displays the details of the passport holder. Here we use microcontroller from 8051 family. For display a 16X2 LCD is used. The status also can be retrieved from this system by pressing the status button interfaced to a microcontroller.
Objectives
The project will be managed using agile project management methodologies, with regular feedback loops and milestones to ensure that the project stays on track and meets the project objectives. The project team will work closely with stakeholders, including government agencies, passport service providers, and technology vendors, to ensure that the project is aligned with their requirements and expectations.
The objective of this project is to develop an automated and secure passport system using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. The system should be easy to use, provide accurate and reliable data, and enhance security and convenience for passport holders.
What Will You Learn
If you are involved in a RFID-based passport project, you can learn several skills and gain knowledge, such as: RFID Technology: You will gain a comprehensive understanding of RFID technology, its working principles, and how it can be implemented in passport design. Security: You will learn about security principles and best practices, such as encryption, authentication, access control, and data protection, and how to apply them in the design and implementation of RFID-based passports. Biometric Data: You will become familiar with biometric data, such as fingerprints or facial recognition, and how it can be integrated with RFID technology to enable accurate and reliable identification of passport holders.
