Certificate Course in Solid Waste Management

The aim of this program is to introduce the concept of solid waste and its management-related topics: from the categories of waste, and waste-related problems to the principles, policies, and tools used in solid waste management. This course provides the student with a sound knowledge of air and water pollution, rules and regulations implemented in India for the protection of the environment, solid waste management, its sources and level of production, the importance of its depreciation, and its effects on the environment. Aspects of landfill management and its significant environmental, social, visual, and land degeneration impacts are included.
